anyway hit up the exhaust shop today to get a 2.25 exhaust set-up using a magnaflow muffler and 18inch resonator anyway they didnt just have just straight up magnaflow universals but they gave me a magnaflow xl sucker was like 18 inches in length and they didnt have cool tips so i settled for a almost identical rsr exmag tip i might be on crack but kinda looks like it. anyway my point is did i get good muffler for my set-up and also i will post pics of what it looks like.

just want some comments after this i will post on the exhaust thread

well as far as the resonator goes the bigger it is the quieter the exhaust so i guess if you want a quiet exhaust thats a plus. The muffler will change the exhaust noise some what. 2.25 is a pretty standard size, im not sure what type of setup your running ? is this just a daily driver ?

i wanted 2 1/2 but everybody down here was telling me no unless your going turbo that **** is going to hurt performance. so i went 2.25 since i dont no yet when im going to get a supercharger but im picking up a stage 2 exospeed cam soon.

isnt 2.25 mostly aftermarket catback sizes

looks ok, how loud is it. i have a bomz exhaust and am running a d15b vtec with kammikaze header. its a lil quite but when i get on it its louder than ****.

Looks like a good size, maybe some pictures from further away would give a better idea of how it looks when someone's driving behind you. Maybe a pic of the whole rear end or something.

Not too big, but still larger than stock. Im looking into getting a new exhaust as well, so Im interested in hearing how loud it is as well.

yours looks good, i have a similar set up but painted flat black so that nobody sees it. not that i want to hide it but its not that beautifull that needs to be shown off

it has a deep low tone below 3,500 rpms and above it turns nice and loud no rasp just great. when im driving normal on the streets its calm but lets you no its there but when i punch it it screams. all in all it came out to be in total around 250 which included the muffler,resonator,pipping,and tip

only if it was tig'd then it would look nice, i also say you paint the muffle but leave the tip plished. but it does look like exmag, i also say don't bother supercharging, get a swap.

i really wasnt trying to copy the rsr exmag i was indicisive on what tip i should get and i guess when i picked that tip. i didnt realize it looked like the exmag tip
