2010
-I think the trend of clammering for rare USDM OEM parts will continue(Bras, sunroof visors, mudflaps)
-The apparent trend of seeking out EDM/UKDM parts instead of JDM
-In my area Ive noticed the decline in modifying EF/DA/EG as they are starting to look dated and everyone in my area seeking EK/DC to mod.
-s2000; the new car of choice, although they always seem like temporary purchases

i just hope that camaraderie becomes a big part of honda owners. for too many years and as of late all everyone has been doing is discriminate against eachother. lets cut the hate down man, theres other ways to voice your opinion.

Re: New trends/styles for 2010
I know a lot of people on here are from different areas, but all the people I know/hang out with or rather all of the SolFreshKrew members are all about camaraderie and that's how we ended up expanding so quickly.
I remember less than 3yrs ago, it was only 3 of us, now we're probably just under 30 of us total with at least 20 cars on the road presently and driven regularly. And the idea we all have in common was to make people around here (firstly) and everywhere we go (secondly) feel more comfortable with Imports, and the tuners behind them.
We're all about sitting back in a chair, sharing a 6 pack, and telling stories of times where we broke night to finish a car for a meet/show/track event the next day. We even have a mutual friend who holds the car scene so dear to himself, that he drives down roughly 10 hours from Ontario Canada to NYC for our meets and he's already stated that he's coming with us to ImportAlliance '10.
<3 Hondas, but </3 the lowlives and thieves and dipshits ruining something I had my heart set on since I was a little kid. I used to read SportCompactCar when I was in Elementary school, just because it was the ONLY magazine that even involved Import tuning.

I would like to see camaraderie come in to play a lot more too. I think now that E-Honda is banned things should be a little easier in the engine bay thread . I hang out with mostly VW guys locally and they love their cars and No Homo love each other. I wish the Honda guys could be like that too, instead of stealing from each other.....

Re: New trends/styles for 2010
I'm not terribly concerned with the new trends, but what I am hoping is that the ultra slammed to the point parts get destroyed trend fades and I'm hoping the low-offset to the point fenders and quarter panels get bashed up trend fades. I'm also hoping the rusted body panel trend fades and I'm hoping to see fewer roof racks this year, too.
Everyone is quick to flame on "ricers" for their big wheels and big body kits that aren't functional, but all the same people seem to love cars the lower the ride height and the lower the offset, nevermind the danger and disfunction. Maybe people will come to their senses in '10.

Hopefully in 2010 everyone's idea won't be to "track my car" because that's what "real car enthusiasts do."
Track hype
Doing it because you want/like to is cool, but doing it to prove that it's tracked means nothing. I built my car, and it's only seen the track once (at IA) yet I drive it every chance I get, and wait for warm summer nights to drive spiritedly through whatever "nice" terrain/mountain I can find in the tri-state area. I'm just as much as an enthusiast as someone who has all the free time in the world to travel to tracks, or lives conveniently near one, but I live in a POS City that doesn't understand motorsports and the closest thing I have to a "track" is Englishtown which is full of thieves, lowlives, and pregnant Spanish teens.
Building "magazine" cars
Enjoying the cars, driving them, loving them, and basking in the camaraderie that is driving/owning a Honda.
