Default New camera=new car pictures :) (sorry 56k)

Alright so I picked up a Nikon D40 yesterday and I'm loving it!!!! I'm a total SLR noob, but I'm loving the quality of the pictures. You've probably seen me ***** my lame Del Sol before, so I'm mainly looking for picture comments. Let me know what you think.
BTW, only adjusted levels in photoshop, no filtering.
EDIT : Apparently , the brilliant imageshack failed to keep my images up. So I'm just gonna throw up a few of em' now.

i think if you color matched your sideskirts and lip it would look even better

Looks good. If the only thing you did was touch levels, then I would re-do it. That, or you over sharpened them. Too many jagged lines.

Actually I did one level of sharpening, but I do that with 99% of my pictures so I didn't think anything of it. It looks better imo, but thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks! The only thing I did to the pictures was auto levels/contrast and one level of sharpening. The camera takes amazing pics out of the box. Still learning all the modes but I can't recommend it enough for a first SLR

They run $600 and come with a 18-55mm kit lense. I still had a $100 gift card laying around so I got mine and a 2gig SD card on sale for around $540 total
