I dont trust Maaco or one day paint, they just love leaving orange peel and using crap paint.

well the color is 'viper red' so obviously it looks a little more orange

with my straight ghetto rims...any wanna trade? Took everything out before shooting, rubbers, muffler, headlight, tailight, turn signal.... prep and tape it all before taking into the shop. All body done myself ...sanding and covering all possible dents...

My thoughts exactly...I took my car to this place called b&r body shop here and they wanted $3000+ just the outside paintjob. They told me they will take piece by piece out and spray it....I was like thats cool....but My car is daily driven and itwill see sun, rain, snow, etc. I cannot have paint job worth more then my car. u can tell right from the get-go who has the macco/earl schieb paint job.
the paint doesnt have the wet paint glossy look.
yeah, it may be shiny, but not glossy. no reflection. more of a dull shine. u know, when u mix clear coat and base paint together. not as nice as a 2-3 stage paint job.
but u get what u pay for.
unless u do it yourself

all the cars post here look nice, any tips for choosing a paint shop? after i guess 9 months i found the color i want, but dont know really that much about paint. and how would a factory color from a different car cost? cheaper then like a custom color? cuz ive choosen the 05 lexus is300 graphite grey pearl for my ride..

both those cars with cheap paint jobs look good... im definately going to get a maaco or earl schrieb paint job..
the way I see it any paint job looks better than primer, besides you could get into a wreck or get ur car stolen and there goes ur $3000 paint job on a $2000 car
