Default My passwordjdm lip; wrong lip?

Hey, i recently purchased this lip from passwordjdm.com its a new lip they came out with for the 90-91 integras, when i got it, i wasnt sure about how it lined up, so i called password and they said you gotta work with it, and that there is no way they sent me the wrong lip; what do you guys think?

You can see in this picture it lines up in the back of the bumper pretty much where it should on one side.

But in this picture you can see that with it lining up on the back like it should, it doesnt sit flush to the bumper in the front

I've heard you need to use a heat gun on those to make them fit.

what do you think the chances of them doing anything about it are?

I spent about a grand with them on one order, and they sent me the wrong lip. I called them before i put it on, and they said theres no way they sent the wrong one..

I just sent them an email, telling them i have pics if they have an email i can send them to. hopefully they will reimburse me or send me a new lip or something..

But what im unsure of is this is a new lip for them, and they said they molded it after a lip that was on a bumper that they got in a little while back, so maybe its just really crappy fitment... i could very possibly be the first one to order one of these from them b/c they just added it to there inventory very recently

Yeah, your the first DA owner Ive seen with that lip. Ive been curious to see what it would look like installed. Im sure if your persistant about it you will be able to ship the lip back and be reimbursed or sent another lip.

My 90-91 JDP lip fit like a glove, hopefully everything works out for you

Anyone got a link, i'd like to know if he got resolved.
I hope they dont just have poor fitment, coz i really want a cf lip, and that was the only good looking cf lip i've seen for the 90-91 DAs

nah, the 92-93 cf lip they have is a more aggressive look

I'm thinking maybe a lip from a 94+ integra.

the fitment looks WAY too off to be just bad fitment,
gotta be the wrong part imo. just from the look of the pics,
although those pics are PRETTY bad man..

still they should take it back
