Re: My New Hatch..97 Civic DX
Haven't done much to the ol' hatch for awhile. So the other day I felt like doin something that was needing done when I got the car.....
Old n' Busted
Gettin rid of the old foam
Blank Canvas
And this...
New Hotness
Yes I know the catalogs in my side pocket by the seat look like trash but they're just catalogs. Anyway, I'm very happy with how this project turned out. The colors in the plaid are just a perfect match for the two toned gray interior.
I have yet to do my visors. But I plan to.

Either i'm going crazy or you accidentally double posted.
Quick, edit post > delete!
Looks great, maybe a brighter light, do the integra map-light mod above the rear view mirror too.
Any new exterior pics?

Re: My New Hatch..97 Civic DX
Well I haven't updated this in a long time. Not much has changed. I've put a front and rear lip on the car. Type R replica on the rear. And a CTR replica front lip and finally installed it. Fitment was meh but looks fine.
I entered an Autocross Event in the spring. That was a BLAST!
Been getting bout 39MPG average regularly. Best being 42.1 MPG So, I'm pretty happy with that.
You can see the lips in these pictures. The car is so dark, it's hard to get an example of accent pieces. Oh well. Hahaha
I also picked these wheels up a while back. Finally got around to rolling the rear fenders to accomodate the 7.5" width. They are 15x7.5 +32 with Hankook Ice Bear tires 205-50-15
Still have the polished slips. Just came across these at a good deal so picked them up. They look beefier being just a little wider but I think I like the slips better.

Doubt this car will see a B series swap in my possession. I just use it as a decent looking daily. The previous owner had a ctr swap in it. And I'll leave it up to the next owner to do the B series. Along with body work and a fresh coat of paint. Haha

Re: My New Hatch..97 Civic DX
Well, I haven't updated this in a LONG time! Main reason being is that it hasn't really changed at all. I'm just driving it every day to work. I however have a new daily driver.
I'll post pictures of it when I get some. But I will say this...I have joined the wagon bandwagon. Haha
The hatch though will be recieving some maintenance come this spring. Getting ready for some more AutoX. Bushings mainly. And I'm pretty sure the tranny is in need of a throwout bearing. :/
And here is a crappy pic. But it shows the meaty look of the wheel and tire combo. I like it.

Re: My New Hatch..97 Civic DX
So I sold this DAP hatch in late spring of this year.
I KNOW! I do still miss it occassionally. But the new daily is doing me good too. Not as fun to drive but I can load lots more in it if needed.
Here it is....
I've also aquired a few other cars. I bought a 99 CRV for my wife to drive.
I just recently picked up a 93 Del Sol.
And my baby....1990 300ZX TT...
That's the only pictures of the Z I have for now. I need to set up a shoot for it.
