Another thing ... how is it flush when your wheel sits at a 30 degree angle to your fender? I mean, that doesn't seem dictionary definition to me. I know it's what some people like, the VW crowd has been doing it for ages. They're free to like it (just like I'm free to dislike it, see? See?), but call it what it is. Don't use a term that's honestly the OPPOSITE of the fitment they pursue.

I understand what you're saying, and I completely honor your opinion.

It wouldn't last 1 minute on Buttonwillow. Definitely agreed.

But it's a fun car to drive on the roads he drives on, with respect to speed limits. It's not unsafe because he doesn't make 3 lane wide turns, or try and do 160 on stretched tires.

The car functions for all intents perfectly fine, nothing wrong with having a car that can't stick doing 160 on the street, because well... we shouldn't be doing 160 on the street in the first place.

See where I'm going with this is, everyone is caught up on building a mad tite circuit racer / functional car / hazard cone assassin that the thought fails to cross their mind, maybe the other guy isn't trying that. Maybe the other guy just likes to drive a nice looking car, and nice in his eyes is obviously different from nice in yours or anyone else's eyes.

Motto here is: different strokes for different folks, no need to disrespect the owner of the vehicle, because he never did anything to disrespect anyone that's going above and beyond saying the following thing (which the owner himself will concede to):

"The car does not function well for high speed spirited driving, nor track use."

He knows this, he has two track bikes that he "spiritedly" drives when he wants to. This is his cruising car.
