Wazup

i was dropping off a friend last night in long beach, and while he was getting out of the car, someone threw an egg and hit the side of my car. after dropping him off, i went to a concert so i didnt have time to wash it off. well i washed it off today and most of it came off, but theres still some kind of residue left that wont come of no matter how much i wash it. any suggestions as to what i should do?

i had that same **** happen to me the other nite!pissed me off bad i got most of it off too,but u can still see were it hit!I cant wait till i catch the little ***** that did it!

that sucks man...that heppened to my friends car the other night too, he tried to wash it off...you should try soap

Unfortuneately I have been egged as well, so here is my advice.

1)Warm soapy water. use dish soap, not car wash soap. yes it will take the wax off the car
2)a really good polish on the area. Meguires #7 showcar glaze is my personal fave
3)wax it.

I was lucky enough to catch mine before they burnt the paint. I think the key is not let it get baked on in the hot sun. I also wax the **** outta my car so I think that helped protect it too. No matter what you do, you will still have the little ring of chips. the eggshell makes one hell of a mess. ships the paint really good.

also make sure it didn't get inside the air vent intakes for the climate air.. It sucks when you turn on the fan and that thing stinks inside your car..
