Re: (daluv)
Saw this car in person, and the engine bay is insanely clean!
I actually like the old school 3 spoke wheels in orange with the flat black. plus he's a hell of a good guy.

Id rather stay away from the masses and stick with things that make me happy. Im not going to change my wheels and seats because they arent up to par with the new faze for Honda's. To me, my whip is already hard, because of all of the hard work put into it so far (NOT done by a shop,) and the fact that I like everything about it. Opinions are cool and sometimes very informitave, but in the end if Im not happy with the car, then its just a pile of junk to me. I like the seats and wheels. The seats are comfy to me, and the wheels are just my flavor, 3 spoke, small and wide. I could go get some del sol deats, or some rota wheels or work wheels and fit right in, but with so many 92-95 hatchbacks out there, and the bigger percentage of them all rocking the same style wheels, seats, and aerodynamics, Id rather do something that Ill be happy with and also stick out a little. Even if it means that people are like "oh, did you see that hatch with those ugly orange 3 spoke wheels!" its ok by me, that means Im doing my job.

this is what my friend and i are thinking of doing. i buy an eg, we work on it and when i leave for the airforce i'd sell it to him. i thought those wheels were ugly but after you painted them...they dont look that bad. at least it was black with a red lip. keep up the sweet work

sick ****....... I am about to start a similar project with my ek. call me crazy but, I actually like the flat black. The wheels are not really my style, but that's what makes it your project. Anywayse, nice ride, and a nicer engine bay. Keep up the good work!

Tenzo seats are not exactly sturdy in an accident. Three spoke pep boys wheels from 1991 don't really fit a car like yours.
If you painted the red part of these wheels flat black, they would be perfect on your car. Just a suggestion, good luck with the build.

The car is only a 94, thats only a 3 year difference. Through my eye's they fit the car, and my vision for it. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Smoking is bad for you!
Cool project. I like that you are doing your own thing and not building a cookie cutter eg like 90+% of the cars on here.

Eh, Ive only been pulled over once so far in my car, and it was because of my 5zigen exhaust being too loud. Thing is, I dont drive like a jerk, I save my "hot rodding" for the track where no pig can bother me. Also, I killed the biggest factor that most people with cars like these get pulled over for, a huge obnixious exhaust.

Lol, I know its a bad habbit, and unfortunatley a hard one to get rid of.
Thanks for the comment, Ive been waiting for someone to respect the fact that im not rocking a cookie cutter civic.
