just finished my friends civic
i just finished building my friends civic. its his first honda ever and im pretty sure its the best car hes ever owned. went from a 6 cyl mustang, to a jeep, to this. we just got his 10 day plates and took some pics outside of the DMV.
him putting on the temporary tag
i took off the old crappy sunfaded nasty gray door panels and went to hancock fabrics and got some of this sweet "headliner" they had there. so i did both doors and the roof. its about a quarter inch thick soft foam, feels almost like it should be oem stuff.
and for the back we went to home depot and got some "boat carpet" from the giant role they have in the back, it was 36 bucks for the carpet in the back, the sheet we got was 6x7 feet and was WAY more that we needed.
and now the MASSIVE HORSEPOWER!
he plans to boost it over the summer, and upgrade the suspension and tranny as well.
the car was painted inside and out. it used to be red, but this was obv the better choice in color
here are some pics of it in the works and before.
and i am about out of pictures, so enjoy

Paint looks hot. I like those wheels on that car actually. Whats the motor setup? Any plans for the future?

Re: just finished my friends civic (JDM INSPIRED)
perhaps a CF trunk in the future, def a CF hood and duckbill though. the rims were dirt cheap with good tires so he picked them up. this car was built on a strict budget so it will have to do for now. once he gets it back home tein flex, gsr tranny, duckbill, and cf hood are the first things on his list to mod. then some wheels

Looks good though.</TD></TR></TABLE>
imo i think it looks cleaner with the carpet and full interior. also makes the exhaust sound quieter inside the car. thanks for the compliments
