Just asking, not flaming:
Do you think that sheet metal work is actually lighter than the windows you've replaced, or did you do that just for the "different" factor?
I'd think it'd be heavier if anything, but tell me what you've found...
Now that rear hatch glass actually weighs something - what are you doing for that?

Re: (Phil DeVtec)
the glass was definitely heavier than the sheetmetal and all else.
its getting the roof black, and the hood redone this week, should have it done and back on the road finally after not having it for 3 months
and one thing everyone is not seeing is that the car had been totalled in 2 accidents, and the windows are only one thing we did. by the gas cap it was bashed about 4" in by a toyota truck denting about as tall as a basketball and 3' long.
and the front end was smashed, headlight / corner shattered, front bumper flew across an intersection, frame was bent above / beside headlight, and fender was so fucked we had to cut it in half to make tech 2 days later when i broke into the 12s.
the windows were only a small thing we did to save a little more weight on this not-a-daily-driver-anymore weekend car.

note the bud light sticker on the floor, and the bud light pics from the first page, they were "borrowed" at the same time
one more thing, i doubt it'll get stolen since its so recognizable, and unalterable. you'd have to trailer it under a cover for no one to notice and remember these pics

Re: (hurtramp)
sponsor decals, and im no artist for painting windows on them, maybe get a sticker of the microsoft windows emblem, so if people go "where are your windows"...
no one is noticing the lack of the car being smashed and totalled, guess we did our job.

Its different and yes sponsorship decals are on the way from AEIperformance.com. With a million eg's out there its hard to come up with something not a thousand people have done. So I guess to each his own but you don't have to hate on it. alot of time and effort went into bringing a totaled pos back from the dead. It may not be perfect body work but we are just getting into it and you have to start learning somewhere.

yeah your car is an EH, not an EG as most honda-tech ricers think they are.
You've probably never even sat in or touched an EG (JDM RHD Civic)
