maybe im just weird, but im not feeling the whole half painted half polished. isnt that paint stripper stuff bad for rubber? i would shoot it with some clear coat, since the paint layer is not even w/ the wheel, it may chip later.
anywho, good work!

i didnt like the idea at 1st of the half color and half polish, but the way rota made the wheels...i mean the surface where i painted it was too rough to polish. plus fully polish looks weird w/ c8s.
paint stripper is prolly bad for the rubber, but it doesnt matter. if it blows out i'll just buy new tires...these are some cheap ***** that i got w/ the wheels. if the paint chips...oh well, no biggie.

you really cant clear over the polished, cuase the paint wont stick to it, it would have to be scuffed, and once scuffed, it wont be polished anymore. kinda a lose/lose situation

not really, looks odd. here is a picture of fully polished c8s from Rota, notice its not really shiny like mine
Look where I painted my part of the rims and where they claim its polished.

I like the gold/bronze accents better, adds some contrast. Plus it looks kinda like my enkies (pics when i get home).
