Default Going two tone, need some advice

So I am painting my 89 CRX OEM red on the bottom and want to do the lower dip in the hood, roof, and rear hatch plate (its about 4" tall) in phantom grey (better than black IMO). I wanted your opinion on whether or not I should just paint the whole "upper portion" of the car phantom grey? Or should I do just like I had planned? If I were to paint the upper portion phantom grey should I do it from where the pin stripe is->up?

Here is a pic for clarification as to where the pinstripe is.

Yea, but I like it. Thats my opinion. I just was wondering which is the more "preferred" method of doing it? BTW- This car is going to have a fraternal twin- a 97 EK coupe. Same exact paint scheme and engine setup!

If it was me I would just paint the roof, and get a carbon hood.

Well I am definietly trying to keep it old school with this one. I have the MR5's and CF48s for the car! And two tone paint will just accent the old school look so much!

I dunno, sounds kinda upside down to me, cars are usually dark on the bottom and light on the top....
