LOL, yeah JDMDan your build up was sweet. Nice long gun , we can't buy anything like that here in California, damn anti-gun lobbyists. I always wanted to get an AK variant. I was lucky to purchase two AR's though before the ban.

Yes Password sells them for $40. I heard you can modify stock ones though. Passenger fender was pretty banged up, wanted to check if it was still usable. I just test fitted fenders for now, yes they are more rigid with the brackets. I will try to figure out how to modify stock brackets and post later for you jdm2teg.

Thanks, for the props on tranny. I will try to find some pix of my block for you guys. It was also polished.

Updated Sat. April, 8th

Great weather today in Huntington Beach, had some time to finally work on car. Here is an update of what I have done. Finnished taking out most of interior, just sunroof, and all glass to get ready for paint. Side moldings are out. Also checked if I could use stock fender brackets.

Before pictures of interior, shame to take out ITR interior.

Decisions, decisions...bolt in roll cage or fabbed weld in cage? After:

Now removal of body side moldings.

Remove this 10mm bolt first from door.
Peel back protective cover from door, WTF is the sticky **** they use? Remove clips, and pull off molding.

Remove three red clips for body panel molding.

Done. Ready to be welded up.

Now to the brackets. Here they are with the stock fender.

Without fender,

Fitted with JDM ITR fender.

As you can see they don't bolt right up easily, I didn't want to bend anything without the core support and JDM bumper. I might just have to buy JDM brackets, I'll keep you posted.

thanks dude, yeah its only legal if i leave it like that, i wanna put a pistol grip on it and change the spring inside to make it full auto but i will end up gettin in trouble with it im sure. as for your interior... are you trying to go all out like my interior? if not check out brewers interior, all sound dampning out and resprayed floor but left the side covers, looks great but i dunno what you have planned for a cage. i would do a custom weld in but the autopowers are a nice cheaper alternative, i guess it depends what your shooting for, either way good progress keep it up

Looking good... that tranny's a lil too bling for me, but I'm sure it will all look badass when done.

Yah, I want to take out sound deadening material but keep the plastic. Looking at getting an 8 point chrome moly weld in, it's gonna put a big hole in my wallet. Maybe an Autopower will have to suffice for now. Thanks.

Tranny cost 350 to polish, Steve at California Polishing did a great job. They polished every part of tranny, you mostly see the bottom from that pic. I have pics of my block also, but I have to scan them. More pics to come. Thanks, guys.

Yah, Tranny had to match up with the rest.

Heres the front of the block, they missed a spot behind the dipstick. I'll have to fix that.

The back of the block.

Top of the block, Benson's sleeved.

Crower rods, will be connected to arias 9:1 pistons. I had the rods for about 12 years! One of the first sets ever made for import honda, bought from Endless Motorsports in Walnut, CA. I don't even know if they exist anymore. They are bullet proof.

P72 GSR head, waiting p'p, rev valves, springs, ctr cams.

Getting interior ready for 8 point chrome moly cage will keep posted.
