Fresh New Paint: Acura EL
I've had this car for a mere 2 years...it's a very long on going project as I am in school and that's sorta my priority, but a hobby is a hobby as well as a money hole at times. Here's a pic of the car back in the summer:
Edit:
Due to popular demand with IM's, here are last years pics, in case you're curious:

Since then, I had two not at fault accidents, and been funded for some paint. The car currently has a CF trunk, the bumper went from an SiR to an EL bumper again, I picked up some new fenders and headlights, and my mirrors are now foldable fierro mirrors
You'll notice the CF trunk is not in pics, and I'm waiting for my SiR/Type R lip, it has to be picked up along with the mudflaps which have been painted as well. I'm gonna grab a second set incase I don't like the painted flaps look.
This is the 'before' pics of the accident I had. The first accident was a truck hitting me from behind on a red light (!? don't ask how that happened) and the second was a lady cutting me off on my way to school. She was oncoming, and then decided to turn onto a side steet to the left of me, totally ignoring me. I tired avoiding her, but it didn't work it. If I kept going straight, it would have been a head on collision.
Well, here are the after photos:
First I stripped the entire interior:
This is the first 2 days the car was at the shop:
Then had all the bodywork done to it, so all the dents and gheyness is gone, I also had the front bumper licence plate holes removed, and just purchased a new bracket from Honda for $7 for the lower licence plate holder portion, and mounted the top to that part:
My fenders were cut out and new ones were put into place to replace the nasty rust I had growning in there:
The rebar is brand new, and the underside of the car has been sprayed in that antirust stuff. It will most likely hold up and last me for a while I shouldn't have any leaking gas tank issues, as I did with all my other old cars.
First week back from paint, she got a bath:
I went all the way down
(note: The CF trunk...is sitting in the back)
I'll be putting on new wheels and much bigger brakes for next summer and new coilovers are going in as well, I'll be selling the Progress Comp II's and will most likely be getting something a little more expensive. I am, a suspension guy so I do get a bit picky
Edit:
Pics of the cf trunk. I know it looked retarded because I didn't align it when the pics were taken, I had it properly aligned now. It takes a while when the thing is so light, and everytime you loosed up the bolts, the trunk slides down. You kinda got to hold it with one hand and tighten it with the rachet at the same time, then open and close it 1,000,000 times to see if it lines up with the body.
Here is a quick chop of how CTR's would look on it:
I can't wait till summer!

I decided to slam it to see how low the car car go. As you can see, it's normal height is much higher. The coilovers are out of the car for the winter, and I will probably be picking up a set of Function and Forms Type II's...not sure yet.
Yeah, ABS but rear drums. Those will be gone by the spring, since there will be either a 114.4 conversion.
