The headlight ram helps out especially off the line. You can even put some filter media if you're scared of getting something sucked in at the track (I use panty hose). We've been running these way back in the day in the Philippines, and most if not all NA EG and EK don't race without one as they are that effective. You can pull up to a car's length more at the end of the line with some sort of ram-air and open filter. This inspired us to make a our version, and sell it cheaper than the $200+ kit iceman used to sell.

Isnt that true that you wouldnt get the full advantage if running something like that unless it was a velocity stack sticking out like 3inches past the bumper?

But isnt that true though? To get the full potential of the veolicity stack you also need to have a flux capacitator mounted in your trunk?

Computing and matching everything from the diameter and length of the piping, plus what you said about the position of the velocity...in relation to the VE of the motor and the total area of the ram plus the piping bla bla.....will be the only precise way to take full advantage of a ram.

What you said may or may be not true as air induction is a science in itself...and we basically are leaving our fates on the basic theory that a good amount of forced cool oxygen-rich air into the motor will lead to more horspower and torque.

Haha...in other words we just like to put these in and run real good at the track.
