That's the other paint I thought about, but couldn't find any pictures of how it came out. I talked with someone else who had tried the Krylon paint, so I went with that. Also, as for how much paint you need, the store I found it at only sold the tiny 3oz bottles, so I bought two. After 2 coats, I hadn't finished one bottle yet. It doesn't take much paint at all

I did the same to my all clear tails a while ago with Testor's Translucent Candy Apple Red, and ordinary clear coat...a year later theyre still holding up pretty well, and you can get the paint at any local Wal-Mart or hobby store. Props on the writeup, yours came out really well
