If its the type of diffuser that you need to cut out some of your bumper is say no. Just doesnt look right in my opnion.

Re: (JDM_SOHC)
Get a rear bumper from a junkyard and do the homemade style. That way you don't hack up your oem bumper.
Then see which you like.
Then see which you like.

this is a dumb question. If you NEED a difuser put one...
if not, then your asking a question of opinion of the looks of the car. "Opinions are like--- everyone has one and they all stink..."
function > form
$0.02

My hybrid civic rear, is covered in plastic. No diffuser, no mess.

Underneath the car, two under body belly pans improved aerodynamics. Honda claimed 7 percent of the improvement in fuel economy came from these aerodynamic changes.

at least they buy the diffuser. a lot of ppl around here just drill big *** holes into the back bumper. about 2 months back i saw a teal ej1 that looked like somebody took a flimsy kitchen knife and carved out CIVIC EJ1 on the back bumper

Re: (92 EH2)
lol well guys im actually suprised... as riced out as HT's gotten in the past few years I figured there would be tons of supporters for the GE diffuser...
CFT's Blue SI has one, an it didn't look that bad thats what initially got me curious as to whether or not people really rock these things, and if so is it for a purpose ya know...

My boy has his prelude bumper cut with holes..... Not kitchen knife style done by cockpit = cleaner than the GE. Anyway car is tracked on a weekly basis and he said he noticed more downforce in the rear end.

Re: (SiR18EG)
I hate the holes in the bumper look...looks cheap and tacky..I say either leave it stock or try to design your own under-panel one ..might be a fun project ! I know i've considered it...has anyone else?

Re: (JDM_SOHC)
what about a clean carbon fiber long one with the holes and a rear under diffuser carbon fiber..?? on a black whip that would probably look kinda sick...

Re: (JDM_SOHC)
dont get me wrong. i think they look sick on different/more expensive cars like ferarri's, wide body kit bmw m3's, etc etc. i just dont think they look good on hondas. but if you were to go with one i would def. say custom is the way to go, cuz maybe then it wont be suuuper booty/rice. the red one on the civic looks decent though....i dont like the holes at all! the cooling plate under the hood though is a in my book.
