Desmond Rims
Spoon SW388 ( http://www.inlinefour.com/spoonswracwh.html ) rims are made by Desmond. Their website is http://www.desmond.co.jp . They make the the rims in different colors and bigger sizes. The only thing is I can't find the blacks in 17's.
Anyone know a distributor or a place where I could find them?

Sorry dude...that's old news. Pretty much all Spoon stuff is made by other companies and they rebadge the product under their name. Steering wheel is Momo, Mirrors are made by Vision, etc. Lastly, SW388's never came in 17's.

Re: Desmond Rims (HENRY)
Yeah, i pretty much figured everyone knew that, but if you check their site out, the SW388's are the same as the Regamasters. The Regamasters come in 17's. I just can't find black ones.

Re: Desmond Rims (hyperrevsports)
Yeah I recommend that place too. That's where I got my desmonds...
Btw, why are you set on 17s? For all that money spent, surely you are doing it to save some weight. With the diameter of the 17, you are putting the weight right back. And I think a 17" in GM or black is going to cost you in excess or close to $2000 for all 4, just the rims.
Talking to David, the owner, he told me that out of all the sets of these wheels he's sold (over 100 at least, I believe), he hadn't sold one single set of 17s....it was split about equally between 15" and 16".
My recommendation: go with 16s....much lighter, cheaper, and handle just as well as the bigger rim. I used to have 17s...You won't really miss that extra inch.

Re: Desmond Rims (degradated)
Yeah, I was planning on getting 16's because it takes off more weight and is better for a lot more reasons. Then one of my friends convinced me that with H&R race springs the drop is perfect for 17's. So I was wondering if I wanted to keep tucking rim. Thanks a lot for the advice tho, great stuff.
