Desmond? Need help identifying wheels.
Are these Desmonds?
They have this written on the back of them
620kg, 3-98 69, 16x7jj +45 offset, Made in Russia.
There are no stickers or any other markings on the wheels. They weigh 12-13 lbs. Any input appreciated. I know Rotas are made in the Philippines so I can rule those out.

they look like the rega brites and have made in russia stamped on the back. I would say those were rega's

I believe those are polished Spoon Wheels, there was a post not too long ago about rota and spoon differences and the spoon had made in Russia in the back.

i think those are real, because the spoon or rega whichever one you wanna call them dont have the holes between the lug openings on 16's, im not 100% positive on that though but you can also check the edge of the lip, if theyre flat and straight then im pretty sure theyre real because i do know that rotas are rounded at the edge

They look real to me! I have a set of Desmonds as well and the made in russia stamp is usually all you need to look for. I dont have desmond stickers on mine just cuz I dont want to advertise and get jacked. Desmond did make a polished rim like the one you posted.

since people are going continue to speculate here is the webiste [url]http://www.regamaster.com/Regamaster_LineUp_Frame01.htm[/rul] I would think they are the brites as I posted earlier although the site doesn't show it being offered in the specs you gave.

Re: (-smellyspoon-)
actually it looks more to me like a regular color finished regamaster w/ the finish stripped off. That looks like bare machined aluminum to me, not a polished finish, which is what I assume the "Brights" are (polished finish).

desmond is the manufacturer regamaster is the brand brite or evo would be the model. like rays engeneering makes volks and gt-c's would be the wheels name.

while they don't look brite like the pics. they look pretty clean overall to have been stripped.
