custom underbody lights on my car now ;)
all pics at http://s40.photobucket.com/alb...rbody/
i know a bunch of you guys are gonna say RICE RICE RICE. BUT in all i dont think its rice.
one its only visable at night when i turn them on
two thats the only thing beside rims that are gonna be aftermarket! the rest of any addons i want to be REAL OEM.
not bad for 84bucks in lights, 30bucks in aluminum channeling most U channel some L channel.
only have one problem..... i reused the old bulbs that have ruff silicone all around them and since i didnt clean them off the bottom...... so unfortunatly they are held down alittle which is making them slightly visable. BUT that will be fixed soon enough!!!!!!!
i cannt stand it when bulbs are visable under a car!!!!!!
my truck was realy easy to hide the bulbs but the civic just doesnt have much room for error. just something i didnt plan on. but its a easy enough fix, just drop the channeling alittle cut the zip ties and blade off the extra silicone and rezip tie
well enough chat... heres some pics.
i like it! and tho the side bulbs arent to visable i still gonna fix them so ya cannt see them at all! everytime i instal lights i always find a few spots i missed or didnt think about. BUT ill get that fixed soon enough!
LUCKELY i found a led lit switch i had that i bought for my truck awhile ago. tho unfortunatly i couldnt find any momentary switches so i used a old truck poper switch.LMFAO just a temp tho! ill have to buy a momentary tommorow and then find a location to mount it.... probably in the center consoles blank switch locations. i wish i knew what was suposed to go thier. does anyone know?
i also want to put in some green leds into the headlights. i already have a kit around i just have to find it
i need to find a good sound activated modual that can handle some bass. but dobt ill be able to find one that ill work right with my loud bass.
also this week i should get my new amp, Orion D2400 and instal it with my REaudio SX 12inch sub, definatly ported.

Re: custom underbody lights on my car now ;) (ENJOYtheRIDE)
i have to admit i wanted to get lights under my car at one point, few years back when i use to run the canyon. i had this idea in my head: once i thought i was good enough and able to keep up wtih the fast drivers i would try to make some type of name for myself. GMR had its fair share of fast drivers, some of them i knew. and i would go up once a week jsut to practice.
i was young at the time and all i could think about was getting better at hitting those turns. well the idea popped into my head (once i thought i was fast enough) to run only a white underglow kit and fogs whenever i drive. and i would hide in the dark corners of the canyon and surprise people from behind and out-drive them all the way up the canyon. and ofcouse, disappear into the night without anyone ever knowing who i am. kinda like a touge ghost. then and only then would i showoff the underglow kit. other than that no one would ever know i had lights under my car.
it was jsut a thought i had. im past it now. all canyons are burned and its jsut dumb to do it now a days. i never got into an accident while driving but i had a feeling my time was coming. im glad i stopped when i did.

ROFL, for some reason it sounds like some Scooby Doo plot.

This was such an insane modification, you felt that it was worth two seperate threads? Genius.
You should scoop up one of those beacher seating aluminum wings next...for the friday nights lined up w/ the crew outside of Taco Bell.
