believe me ... i know. Susupension wasn't a last priority so to speak ... but it kept getting bumped back because of all the **** going on. This was a 2.5 year build that's been through 5 motor setups (stock block supercharged, built supercharged, 2 built turbo's and the current stock block)... 2 of which have been very expensive.. and when i bought the car i was only making 200-250/week... so i had to prioritize
Suspension's coming, no worries... along with some wheels. Just trying to figure out whether i'd like to go 5 lug with some oem itr wheels; 4x114 so i can have some bigger brakes, keep it cheap and have more of a variety when trying to get some wheels; or keep 4x100 and pick something up. I'm pretty set on ground control/koni yellows tho since it's very cost effective.

yea dude - send the pics my way. As far as taking pics .. you can if you want to. My camera's good too if i dick with it, and i have access to a few nikons if i need.. kinda looking for someone using photography as a hobby or whatever - so i can send some pics to some magazines once the car's complete next spring... just to see if i can score a feature in something

yea i didn't mean to sound like i didn't want you to. I'm game for anything.
i used to do the whole vid thing a few years ago ... loved it - just lost time. I'd really like to get into the whole photography thing, but time owns my life with that too.

word. sucks ... but makes it worth it as it is now. Knowing it's running well definately makes me like it again.
It's not as fast as i'd like ... keeps with cars running 13.50 at sub 110 traps on such low boost and low power for a heavy car ... but it gets around.
I have my built motor for when i wanna tear up the streets

thanks brotha - if that's your car in your avatar ... yours is sick. mine doesn't even compare

should have snapped some pics!!! i was in just about every carlisle thread i saw everywhere, and i didn't see a full on shot of my car. There were a couple group shots of thejdm.com members that i was in or i caught a glimpse in the background, but that's about it haha.
Thanks again for sending that write-up man. Casey just told me that my old front wasn't the actual hid front, which explains why there's a difference with the ballasts and such. I might break down and get the password harness for like 30 bucks though, just to keep it simple and have the extra wiring for the fog lights that i haven't got around to wiring into the switch i've had sitting beside my computer for months haha. I hate wiring so much ... it kills me.

going up pretty soon for a retune once i get some time and my cam gears come in.
I was waiting on a new wastegate spring so i could get rid of the lag from 3psi to 9 psi ... and while i was doing that, i picked up some GSR cams too. Then after some thinking, i remembered that since i have a thick headgasket my cam timing isn't dead on, so i'm waiting on those to get here.
When i was trying to figure out my lag problem, a buddy of mine 'set the wastegate to infinite boost' and did a 3rd gear pull from 4000 (where it normally makes and holds the 3psi) until 5500 (right before vtec, but would usually keep at 3psi until 6500) and it made 10psi and said it felt like a whole new car.
Since it made 272whp/175 tq as is with such a weak powerband/boost issues, stock b16 cams, and improper cam timing ... i'm hoping for a bit over 300whp and around 200 tq at 9psi. Shouldn't be too hard, a guy on h-t made 350 on 8psi with a stockblock b16.
I'll keep everyone posted

i hear ya on the rotas... i needed to spend money elsewhere though, so cheap wheels it was.
I'm finally caught up on my motor situation by having the car running and also having a complete longblock ready to go after assembly so suspension and wheels soon. Probably some regas or something.

good job perservering through all that crap, really like the car color. did u ever cinsider shaving the side moldings too? I would've liked to see what it looked like w/ shaved side markers.
