Yes. Shampoo the carpet first with a rug doctor. You can rent these at a lot of places.

Dont use Duplicolor on plastic interior peices, they come out somewhat glossy and fake. If you want to paint interior, use SEM flat black #15013.
Works better on vynle (sp) and other soft plyable surfaces.
Not the greatest picture to show but the top portion was stock black and the lower shiftboot area was painted. Dont mind the bottom portion of the shiftboot, its the reflection off my tan carpet

Re: (Flava)
I used vinyl spray paint (I think it was DupliColor) I bought at Advance on the door panels, and Krylon Fusion plastics paint on the hard plastic pieces like the dash, console, etc. Everything has held up good except for the window cranks. The paint wore off from being touched so much, so I ordered some Si ones.

Re: (crex23)
I used the duplicolor interior black paint on my dash, and rear plastic. The dash came out good in my opinion, I still plan on swapping it out for a black dash down the road. The key is good preparation before spraying. If you do scratch it, the paint will come off fairly easily though. Same with the rear plastic.

Re: (JDM knowledge)
It does look good, but like I said, if you do scratch it, you see the blue color underneath. Also, there was a small area that I must of missed when I prepped the plastic ... so the black paint chipped off.
Edit ... but overall I'm happy with the results

Re: (Flava)
Okay, Flat Black. Make sure to prep the plastic real well. I think I used some de-natured alcohol to wipe it down with. I did about 4-5 light coats.

Re: (90civichb)
what did yall use to clean the panels and such after you painted it?
and how do i go about respraying the panels, doors..etc? just spray over it?
also it seems it gets scratched/chip very easily. would using primer help or adhesion promoter??
