Angel eyes and clear corners
I drive a red 95 civic ex and recently bought clear corners. I am now thinking about purchasing projector headlights (angel eyes). Has anyone ever seen this setup. If so what does it look like. with clear corners which lights do you think would look the best.
Here is a auction with a picture of each style.

If you have this setup please post a picure
Thanks
Alex

Re: Angel eyes
How is it that projectors seem to change the color of the light to produce a similar HID effect ?
And is there really a point to projectors besides show? Or do they actually "project" better?
Thanks.

Re: Angel eyes (Infamous_Imports)
I have the regular projects not the angel eyes and I have not changed them out from stock because I do believe that they light up the road better.
I really dont like the angel eyes but to each his own.

My clear corners dont look like that. They are clear, but kind of white. Think the setup would still look cool?

Re: Angel eyes (Infamous_Imports)
my friend does have HIDs behind his projectors. the projectors really cleaned up his beam pattern. before the projectors, the light spread was really bad. it blinded oncoming drivers, and also people he was driving behind.
edit: oh and the car now has the trendy full orange corners.

Some of you ******s flame on others for putting bmw head lights on their ride. Yet, you go out and buy the CHEAP imatation of the bmw head lights and think its tight. These angel eyes look really cheap and pathetic. I guess there cool if you are a riceboy....
Its almost up there with the garden edging from Home Depot. Almost looks like the real thing, but not quite.

Re: Angel eyes (Infamous_Imports)
Alot of people say Civic projector headlights suck, and it is true. They do not light up the road as well as stock. But alot of these people seem to think because of that, automatically all projectors must be bad. This is not true.
The reason these projector headlights suck is because they use H3 bulbs, which have one of the worst beam patterns of any halogen bulbs (except 9004, those suck bad too). The H3 bulbs have a transverse (sideways) filament, normally used in foglights which require a short, wide beam spread. They are not very good for primary headlight use, especially not in high beams.
The projectors used in Integras, and their headlight bulbs (9006, or 9005 if you do a conversion) are MUCH better at lighting up the road, since they use an axial filament inside the bulb.
The new projector headlights for 4th gen Civics and CRX's use 9006/9005 bulbs. I have not heard many reviews on them, but do not be so quick to call them "rice" because I can almost guarantee they are better than stock 4th gen Civic headlights (assuming the projector is the same as those in Integras).
