damn man... sorry to hear.
try using a mix of 50% water and 50% vinegar and soak the egg as much as possible. it should get it off.
it shouldnt affect the paint, but just in case, use a little of the solution on an area of paint under the hood or trunk to make sure it doesn't damage the paint.
good luck
hope it helps

That sucks. Some punk MF's threw eggs at my buddy a few weeks back and they went all over his grandma in the passenger's seat...... so things could be worse.

you do realize that vinegar is an acid right? Ever seen what acid does to paint?

Man that sucks. My friend had his 2000 Accord for 4 days when it was egged. He tried everything to get the egg off but it just didnt work. He had scratches and marks in his door permantly. He had to get it painted and it cost him $300 to do it. At least they didnt put golf ***** in your brand new exhaust. That cost him $950 to get replaced.

sucks to hear man. the eggs residue should be the easier part, but it sucks cuz the shell crazks your paint under the clear coat. bring it to the body shop. good luck man.

well, thats why you dilute it. and thats also why i told him to try it in a spot that you can't see to make sure it doesnt mess up the paint.
it'll get the egg **** off though.
