I dunno, I think the sharp edges on the vents and the long headlights all go together very well. if they smoothed it out they would have to smooth everthing out. I personally like the styling. I just think the front vents are too large they should split them up some.
On the other hand, the lamborghini is designed to attract rich crazy people, where as the Civic is designed to please all eyes that look at it so there is nothing crazy like sharp edges or big air vents. It's designed much "cleaner"

the creator of this thread is an idiot, hate to say it. a $180k shouldn't have air ducts and grilles like normal comuter car civics do?! i don't know how many "nice" cars you've been in, and i don't know how many $500k+ cars you've been in, but a car is a car pal. i know it may sound surprising that these quarter million dollar supercars aren't actually jet fighters in disguise, but it's true. from the bmw 5 to the rolls royce phantom to even the maybach exelor, every ******* car has vents, geometry and grilles (or home depot chicken wire to you).
what do you expect these super cars to have? this guy notices a similarity between his honda and that dudes lambo ("hey they both have wheels! that's not right) and scratches his head at the notion functionality should be relegated when the cost of making a car is so high.

who cares what the outside of the car looks like when your behind the wheel and everyone wants to sit in the passenger seat ?
Lamborgini is style for people who have a flair for things exotic, if it looked like every other car then there is no reason for anyone to pay that money to have something unique. I happen to perfer the NSX simply on it's durability but if you want to nit pick cost vs performance your best bet is to buy a new evo or s2000 and spend about 30K making one perfect, and by that I don't mean turbos and bullshit 500 dollar green seat belts but reinforcing the diff, perfecting the suspension and increasing the brake capacity among other things
For those of you not lucky enough to ever drive a modern lamborgini like the gallardo it's an experience you won't get in a honda and some people will pay for that experience so they can have it every day.
When you get your self to a level where you can afford one you might feel differently or you might buy an sl55 for half the price who knows.

I'll say it right out...Lambos are ******* ugly. They look like some overstyled HotWheels cars. I'm not saying Hondas are the best looking cars on the face of the earth either so don't jump on my *** with some wiseass remark. I just like most simple/clean designed cars. I grew up outta the whole "omg Lambos are the hottest cars on earth" stage and hopefully some of you will to. I'd take that Volvo Evolve over an Enzo anyday of the week. I don't give a **** what cost 9 million dollars and can run the 1/4 in 2 seconds...if it looks like a jetfighter with 4 wheels...bet your *** I'm not liking it.

BTW, how does me making a site about my car and its modification to show my uncle, friends, and other family make me 'ignorant?' Seems your showing your arrogance, but this debate is not an attack on me, or between me or you, feel free to PM me for that. This is a simple appearence discussion. Aestetically, I feel this is the weakest (and most german) design I've seen on a Lambo.
I am by no means a car newb. Actually, I will be taking the ASE certification tests in a few months, and I'm in my 2nd year of college for Mechanical Engineering. But enough about my life story, and enough about my qualifications to be an aestetics 'critique' of cars. The Lambo and Enzo are ugly. ****, I made a page on my friends Element, but I never said that was a good looking car.
I'm sure its ride and performance is excellent. Actually I've seen videos of the car and know it kicks ***. I'd like to drive one, but I'm Italian, and so aestetics make a large deal with what car I'd own, so given enough cash and driveway space, I still wouldnt have one. I'd have the impossible to drive Lamborghini Countach. With its V12 that scares birds from the trees, its loud, tires are WAY too wide, but look at it. I think its crazy, and I love it.
