Aestetic debate, Lamborghini versus Honda
So I got a 4 door civic, yeah. I parked next to a brand new Lamborghini Gallardo. Where most people go "hell yeah" I can say, its a lot prettier in person. But for that cost...I mean look at it.
Honda could have styled those air ducts better. Ya know who could style the fascia better? Italians, but this is a German car. German built, and minus the badge, thats a Audi. Since Lambo was bought by Audi, we've seen a increase in build quality. We know that handmade italian supercars arent the most...well reliable as your run of the mill Accord. Thats why they looked so good. But with the long headlights, you can tell the german influence.
This aint a insult debate, im not saying my car is so good, its not, its a basic 4 door civic which I tweak a little. Not that great looking, and the Lambo is better in almost every way (cept fuel economy) but for $180,000 over $6500, can't you expect aestetics that don't have front air ducts that are a simple geometric shape with some chicken wire on it that the civic next to it has?
Now Im not trying to proove my car is better than a Lambo, but purely on aestetics i base this discussion. Some may miss my point and flame me anyway, so Im not gonna defend my car.
What do you guys think? Heres a brand new Lamborghini, and for comparison sake, a 9 year old sedan.

I was never a fan of Lamborghinis..
They never looked...'right' to me. But yeah I understand what you're saying. That thing is pretty ugly in my opinion. I'm not being biased, i'm just saying that if i had an extra 180 grand lying around, I wouldn't buy that certain car. Still fast nonetheless.

its all realative...the owner of the lambo prob thinks his car looks badass...not my cup of tea but it is more aesthetically pleasing than a civic sedan

im sayin this car aint good lookin at all, now the Diablo is another story. That thing is the bomb, and the Countach, well thats been my favorite car since I was 4. Countach says "aestetics > all".
Some cars were styled to look good, Countach, Miura, 355, 575, 360, 612, Zonda, C8, but this seems to be a intro car created to sell more of the badge, am I right here?

not really a fan of the exotica cars. i mean if i had the money to buy one, i'd buy a few itrs with that money. why buy one lambo when you can buy a few cars that are probably more reliable. also what if you crash it, well there goes all that money you spent for one car. i dunno, it's just me. i would love to have a ferrari though and i actually like that lambo, but i wouldn't pay that much for one.

Countach- damn mang me too i have pics of me wearing a Countach shirt pointing to the car giving a thumb up and i was about 5

anyone seen that best motoring where they run an nsxr,m3,m5,diablo,and a gallardo on tsukuba? the nsx was pooning them till the last lap when the diablo and gallardo passed the nsxr on the final straight. idk...

5 Laps on Twin-Ring Motegi I believe. NSX-R was in the lead 4 out of 5 laps, it started over heating and then the long straight came. Two Lambo's did a 1-2 finish with the NSX-R right behind them.

aw man dont tell me the enzo looks good man, thats purpose built for speed, nothing at all is designed for aestetics, so classing its looks is sorta useless.
civic = mouldable clay ... I like that. That should be its new ad. The civic, mold it into whatever you want it to be.
