Re: 92 Civic Dashboard Modification (mood)
brilliant. if you have a need for monitoring your engine during racing or whatever, gauges will look dope in the extra pocket you created.

Re: 92 Civic Dashboard Modification (JDMish)
You're right, I do like that setup a lot better than what mine is right now. However, I would have left that trim piece gray instead of painting it gloss black Other than that, I definately have to give you a for this one.

Re: 92 Civic Dashboard Modification (smnowell)
I'll be repainting that dash piece flat black when it gets warmer. I used semi-gloss black paint and it looked like a good match until everything was in place. I don't think gray would be a good choice for me, since that would be the only thing in the interior that would be gray. I think it would stand out like a sore thumb.
I need to dye my armrest black too, since I couldn't find a black JDM Ferio armrest, and settled for a gray one. Brainstorming on what I want to do to the armrest, since I had originally molded in the OEM Civic climate control unit in there, but didn't really like how it looked when I was done.

Back from the dead!
Finally finished with my interior. Took me forever to order OEM carpet and to dye the upper grey plastic trim pieces black, and reupholster the headliner, but it's all done now. All black interior, from the floor to the roof...
So she looks like this now...
Write up will be done shortly. Waiting to get my hands on another OEM audio console so I can take pictures as I go.....
