They may fit on the front (I know a friend was using them in the front of an EK hatch). I have 15x8 all around on my EK hatch and I don't think 15x9 will fit in the rear unless you cut away the lower suspension arm a little bit. I have like 1/4" of room between the lower rear suspension arm and the inner rim.

So 15x9 in front will fit. As far as the rear... needs some modification.

True, however then the body is in the way. I'm going to try and find some 15x8's first.

I just saw that 949Racing has 15x7 and 15x7.5 coming in July.

This Del Sol with 9's and spacers looks sick!
Don't think I will run anything this elaborate on the street so I have my eye on the 7's.

I do not mean to be rude. I can careless about their philosophy. I like 16' rims period, although 15's are not too shabby, they are not the right sizing for me. I don't like buying 15's, I hate the thought of 15's, & 17's are just to big. If their "philosophy" is so great in rim design please request they make a 16."

I'm fully aware of that. They'll still forever suck in my book until they make some 16's. I love Mugen RNR, but they will forever suck because they too never made 16's. So with that said, spread the word til it get back to the factory/company! 949 6UL's suck because they do not have sizing for 16" rims!

cos 15" & 17" are wt most people use for road race & auto-x (under 4x100)

for 16" you don't have much tire size selection (for street tire & R tire)

so as calipers clearance most of the time it requires min 15" or min 17"

Word. I prefer a 16" wheel myself. But I will be running 15's on my coupe for track duty, due to tire sizing/cost and weight concerns. Unfortunately they won't be 6ul's since the car is 5x114...

I do want a set for my 4 door though

I should, to bad I don't know anyone at Rota who would do this for me. If they did I'd be the 1st to order a set in 16's. And don't give me that caliper clearance crap, what you can do w/ 15 can be done with 16, and not all bbk's require a 17. It is however about the proper rim choice. Maybe in early 2000 they didn't have a great tire selection for 16's but it's getting better, more than there was before. 15's a good rim size, but not for everyone, not for everything.

...and if you base everything on I bought it because it's avail. this prod. is more abundant, It just says to me I took the easy way out. Truly I only care for 16' rims. I'm passionate about my 16's and you about your 15's. You praise these rims, I express my disdain for them not manufacturing 16's. Just all goes back to preference. So take shots at the company and facts, not my comments, again the easy way out.


Sweet sweet. If I had a eg on the track 15's all day. But an EK Ferio chassis, just looks plain odd. Some have the look on 15's but not all, not to include there are way more issues, tire wear, tire life, etc etc.

...... Meanwhile fight for your cause too, Now they suck because they don't make 5x114.3 Screw Conformity!!
