Default ^^A work in progress...what it started as, how it sits now, and what's to come!

This is a mix between a re-introduction to Honda-Tech, an overview of my EH2 project, and just generally what is going on with me and my vehicles. Pretty much after the initial posting of this, it will be a project thread, so keep checking for updates.

My name is Rob, I am from West Chester, PA. I am 21, go to college for business management, temporarily working as a car washer at a dealership, sometimes clean up my friends shop, and am a freelance photographer. My photography wesbite is http://www.rm-photos.com/. I joined Honda-Tech early in 2005, but wasn't an owner of a Honda yet. To be honest, I was anti-Honda, until I got beat by one, then came here to research them. Turned out I needed a daily driver and bought my EH2, a 1995 Honda Civic CX hatchback. I drove it for a little, then my Dad drove it for a while; about a year later I started using it as my main car and swapped it. The rest is history.

I own this Milano Red 1995 Honda Civic CX hatchback, purchased on April 27. 2005, and I believe I am the second owner. The vehicle has about 90,000 miles on the body at the moment, rust is just starting to emerge, but will be taken care of. The car is clean, just needs new front and rear bumpers and a few door dings pulled. I must say, this is my favorite car to date, it is not the fastest, but it will be soon enough. It is the most modified car I've owned and I am really big on the fact that I turned a 19 second car into much more, I love it. I guess that is the Honda "noob" in me talking.

My fastest time in the car thus far is a 14.282 @ 96.33 at Cecil County Dragway, but that was before a good amount of work. I indicated anything I ran without with a "*" in my following descriptions. I am hoping it is capable of mid to low 13's now. My car is coming off insurance shortly to be built and turboed, so I won't be able to find out, since I am untuned still. Anyways, onto the pictures, current modifictions, and plans; enjoy.

NEW Also got a daily driver, a Grenada Black 1993 Honda Civic EX coupe. It is currently for sale, I need to sell it to buy a SUV, I am looking at 1999ish Dodge Durangos. Long story short, my EH2 is going to be towed around when done, I can't have three cars at the moment, so the EJ1 must go. Everything is included, but the Yakima rack. The car is perfect to swap or just drive daily. Contact me for more information.

Sort of hard to believe, but those are rattle canned, didn't even prep them. I wanted them done for the summer and plan to strip them down completely over the winter to prime, paint, and clear. The red "H" is painted, I just masked the rest of the center cap off with cap and sprayed that quick. They are quite shitty up close, but they will be redone over the winter.

Yeah, they are kind of shitty up close, but I don't care, they look decent. I was actually thinking about getting something made, like decals that go in the "H" so it will be a good fit and won't have chips from paint wear, but I think that might heat up from driving and fall off.

Thanks for the photography comment.

Excellent photography. I'm a bit of an amature photographer myself, but I never get to use anything cool Most of the time I'm resigned to a Sony P-41

Car is insanely clean, just like how I like to keep mine

Oh, whoops. I am still fairly new to Honda-Tech, not sure which section this was supposed to be in. Moderators can move it if they wish, I just figured it would go in model specific.

Haha, yeah. Coming from a fairly stock, mid 12 second Trans Am, I had to get something under the hood before anything. Almost went built D16 turbo or all appearance first, I am glad I did the B18C first.
