//////\\\\\\ SIDE EXIT EXHAUST THREAD //////\\\\\\
i would like to see a collaboration of side exit exhaust setups on nice cars.
unfortunately i have no pictures to contribute, because i wasn't able to find any (aside from in classifieds section), which is why i created this thread!
i used to see a guy with a silver coupe on the street around here all the time but aside from that, i haven't seen any. i believe his car was boosted, so it wasn't THAT obscenely loud for the street, just a bit...illegal.

I hope all the cars in here are race cars because street cars with side exit look and sound like aids.

Have a couple friends with a side exit setup. On a turbo car it doesn't sould like ***. I have no resonator, muffler, cat, just 2.75" piping ran to the back of the lca's and I drive it daily.

for road racing, some tracks have a noise level limit. That's why you see some rear exhaust aimed to the side.

It's called a muffler and its much more effective.
Shortest exhaust = best the race car's your seeing have diffusers and heat exhangers under the body they dont want exhaust near it.
Even for a show car this is stupid.

It would also ruin the paint with exhaust soot.
