Hey Im juss building a MINE-ME for my girls del slo and I saw many threads for other motors but no one got any MINE-ME ones. So I wanna start a MINE-ME thread to show off your build weather it be ghetto or riches. So post up some pics of your MINI-ME and your setup. Also if you have any numbers that would be nice also. I would start off but im not done building it yet. I will post it when im done. So lets have some fun with this and show your MINI-ME love!!!

My d15b head on my b7 breaks traction in 1st when vtec engages, I love it although its still slower than just about everything on the road

Why beat up on poor people? I'll give a homeless guy a dollar to build his mini-me! Ya can't knock someone for building on a budget. I do think its cool when a SOHC is really clean even if its ebay junk but someone takes pride in its appearance. So easy there Private!

haha^
you dont have to be spoiled with money to build an engine. Some people like 135 horsepower and some like 450 horsepower. I myself just happen to get broken d-series engines and then i build them with the best parts of all engines i have. Where do you think the general idea to do b20 vtecs (or ls-vtecs for that matter) came from? respect the single cam bro.

I did a mini me swap on my 2000 EJ6 with a y8 head. Its port and polished by GUDE racing with a SKUNK2 cam gear, a crower stage 2 turbo cam for future setup, with a y8 intake mani, aem fuel rail and aem FPR all running on a p28 with a conversion harness. It pulls really good from 1st to 3rd. Also it idles between 1200 to 1800 rpms when it warmms up then it will stay at 1200 but that is because of the cam.
For me building what you have to the most of its ability is how you learn... After you have a comfortable feeling with that powerplant then you can move on to bigger transplants. Personnally I want to build a B18C but that wont be until after I am content with my Basic model DX pushing 160. With my moter setup I have beaten stock SI's... With that said I have love for DOHC but I truly love the SOHC powerplant only because I think you can get more respect from building a properly tuned SOHC......
Thats just my 2 cents people can hate all they want but its about how you spend your time and money into something that is yours and only yours......

I love SOHC's
I personally have a B because I got a em1, but I had a mini me ej6 coupe for a while before that. Yeah its cheaper, but its also much simpler too. And you're never afraid to beat the hell out of a sohc because most of the parts are dirt cheap. :p
And I don't need crazy power anyways since there really is no place to speed and no tracks around that I go to.
But turbo D's are crazy, I wish I built one of those instead of a mini me.
