I ordered a lip from Phase Nine Ind awhile back and it was $99.95 SHIPPED and not folded up ... just wrapped, no box. True story.
But I have read alot of complaints about them and I am sure they went under for a reason.

Well, I ordered my 97 ITR replica lip from jdmshit about a month ago.
My first reaction when I picked it up from ups was . WTF did I get myself into. The lip was folded up and wrapped. I quickly went home and unwrapped it. I read the instructions and was bummed because there wasn't any NorCal sun.
Bummed out I PM Newman. He said blowdry it or stick it in front of the heater. I was cold and lazy so I blasted the heater and put the lip right in front of it. About 4 hours later, the lip looked much better but still not perfect. I wasn't worried that much anyways since it will take shape once the ends were screwed in.
I removed the bumper off of the car and proceeded to separate the lower part of the bumper. It isn't necessary but it did make it a lot easier for me. At first I thought the lip was shorter than the bumper. I kept holding it up to it and it looked like one side wouldn't reach.
I went ahead and screwed one side in on the end of the bumper. I used a little bit of masking tape to hold up the middlepart of the lip.and I went ahead and screwed the other side in. It fit perfect.
Now onto mounting the actual tabs that hold it in place. I thought that the tabs were supposed to be straight like this: " || "
but they are really supposed to be like "//" and "\\". You'll see what I mean when you purchase it.
I test fitted the tabs and lremoved them again(hint: DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREWS YOU USED IN THE ENDS. JUST THE TABS ON THE BOTTOM).
I had some heavy duty thin 3M double sided tape that I wanted to install also.
I put the tape on and reinstalled the lip.
I LOVE IT! The fit is perfect and the quality of the lip is excellent. It completes the front end of the 94-97 Integra's soo much
quality= 10/10
fit= 10/10
price= Comptech quality with a Ebay price
and to those that bitch about the way they arrive, thats how the Comptech ones come also. Cool thing about this is that it comes with mounting tabs for the bottom.... you need to purchase about 5 10mm bolts with matching U-nuts(like the kind that hold the rear mudflaps in place) to complete the installation.
I took pics last night but it was too dark to post. I will post pictures tonight

This is the problem with HT. Whiners.
Newman already says if you are not satisfied, ship it back and he'll cover for another.
Urethane lips will unfold back into its original shape. Wings West and Comptech all do the same. You get what you pay for, but everyone whines no matter what you pay for it.
Newman (JDMshit) for good service.

Re: (shyboy817)
expletive that. i would never buy a lip that came rolled up.. i've bought 5 civic lips off ebay and they've all come in correct form. if that arrived at my doorstep i would be irate
#37
They probably came in correct form because they're shitty *** abs plastic lips that aren't bendable. If you don't want to save money and buy a polyurethane lip that comes folded up (which doesn't even cause any damage to it, and can fix the creases with some heat..). Then pay extra, or order a pos abs plastic lip.

thats ***** hilarious, sorry bro..but it is funny that someone would ship it liek that...lol
i have actually ordered 3 lips from jdmshit.com and they came in big boxes, lip wasnt folded,rolled, and i didnt have to do anything but bolt up......sorry you had to go through that ****..ive had nothing but good deals w/ jdmshit.com

Yes I know it's a polyurethane lip that jdmshit sells, i was talking about 93cx, I'm not sure how jdmshit ships there lip, but i guess it seems like they don't send it folded up like people normally do, thumbs up to them.

we used to dropship lips for phasenine until they started to give their customers the run around, and their customers started calling us and complaining to us about them not answering their phones, till this day phasenine is outta business and still owes my company money
as far as the lip, i charge $30-$35 to ship a lip anywhere in the continental US (except Alaska/hawaii), and they DONT come folded, and u DONT have to wait 1 week like some for their lip to regain its shape
