Worth It
would it be worth changing out a auto trans to a manual trans in my 98 f23 accord, my friends say i need to but idk if it would be worth it, and if i did which would be the best trans, would it be the h22 trans for quicker acceleration or ??? what else. I am kinda wanting to do this but i want to hear more of why i should or should not.
Thanks in advance

Unless your current trans is shot I wouldn't bother unless you were planning on doing a doing a pretty substantial engine build.
Stock it will be slow either way.
I guess it depends on what your goals and budget for the car are.

If you love driving a manual over an automatic, then yes, it is worth it. Even if your car is stock and slow, you might still enjoy the shifting vs. having the automatic do it all for you.
