Default what type of engine oil for honda accord 2000 v4

Somebody suggests that I use 5W20, Is that true? Thanks for any suggestion.

5W or 10W is fine--which ever you prefer.

One thing to consider is your elevation. I'm not usre what it is there in Canada, but if it's high you should go with a 10W.

my oil cap says 5w20 but i use 5w30 on mine

thats ok, you could use 10W30, 5W30, 5W20 or 0W30 or 0W20, its not going to destroy your motor (or make make the earth reverse on its axis)
