What can I add
Whats up peeps. I dont know if this is the right fourms for my question, but oh well. I got a 98 Honda Accord LX automatic and I was just wondering I've been in alot of races against other auto's and a few manual transmission and I was just wondering what can I add to my car to make it a lil faster. I know I cant add much because its not the V6 modle but I know there has to be something besides a different exhaust.

Re: What can I add (AccordDemon)
The list is endless. Start with the intake, maybe a header, and if you're racing.....what about a 50-shot of NOS. Man, you could do sooooo much to up the performance, how deep are your pockets?.....that's the real question.

any laws i break dont put other's in danger because of my own stupidity.
theres TONS of things you can do. why dont you search and learn something about cars rather than just have some people you dont even know throw some random parts out that you may or may not have any clue what they even do

street racers dont kill people, retards that THINK they are street racers kill people.
trust me, I've been into the street racing "scene" and I use that term loosely for a few years now, and I've never met anyone thats hurt themselves or others. Matter of fact, I've never met anyone that raced on streets with traffic. Its usually on a back street in an industrial part of town where there is 0 to no people. but enough of that, we all have opinions so you have yours and I have mine.
aside from that, nitrous is a good tool for cheap, intake, header (nothing from ebay, do some major research on this), exhaust (again, research, please make it chambered so that it doesnt sound like a honey bee) and your AT has got to go.

You must not drive much. My car was fucked up, very badly because of a homo trying to street race me while I was going for a Urine test a while back. I live in south Austin and have seen plenty of accidents, I've seen cars that you turn your head for go away all of the sudden because the guy got killed the night before racing someone out of the Whataburger parkinglot. Plenty of people hurt themselves street racing, but not nearly as many people are hurt then the amount of property that is damaged. Street racing is stupid. Thats my .2

Re: What can I add (AccordDemon)
I understand about the intake and stuff, but I thought nos and stuff like that was for the manual v6 models. I didnt think they made stuff for auto's and also Im still new to the whole tuning scene. I just want to make my car as fast as it can go for an automatic. I was looking at superchargers and stuff like that but there for the v6 models and there also out of my budget by a long shot... And also like I said Im new to the tuning scene umm what is an h22 swap is it like a different engine or something like that?

H22 is an engine from the prelude's. They are a dohc 2.2l vtec engine with more potential than the f23's (engines in accords) as they are relatively easy to swap into the accords. Becareful with the auto tranny's on the accords b/c honda auto trannys are known to be weaker now than they used to be But most engine mods are not for "auto only" or "manual only" so just do some research on here and you should be fine

you need to do some serious research on your car and what these mods will do to your car. the search button is your friend. either that or check out howthingswork.com

I agree with that statement. I would suggest lots of research. You need to know what makes power before you start throwing money away. You will need to have a goal of your power output so you can be realistic in your approach and expectations.
Most people( myself included) didn't start with a goal so they blindly poured money into their car only to change their set up. Trust me I speak from experience, do your homework. Research as much as you can before you start spending money.
I know it's hard to be patient, but if you are, it will pay off.
