Tranny Refill question
Ok I searched using the search tool entering keywords such as and not limited to: tranny, tranny flush, tranny refill. Didn't find instructions for a 96 accord.
I noticed this past week that when I step on gas RPM's jump to 2-3k when I'm not traveling that fast (residential streets).
I can feel the car bucking like when the rpms shoot up they stay there for about 1-3 secs and then drop by 1k. Before I go towards possible tranny replacement I want to just drain/refill 3x. I know that I need Honda ATF (How much do I need)
Secondly where is the bleed screw located so I can do that this weekened? I'm guessing I should be able to tell right away after doing that if it's a possible tranny problem or do I have to drive it around for a week or so?
Thanks guys.
I think that topic should be in the Accord FAQ because I didn't find it in there.

The drain plug is on the right side of tranny. Use a 3/8 extension to remove the plug. It takes two quarts to refill. Good luck, hope it helps.

Ok 2 quarts to refill? So that means I need to buy 3 quarts because you are only supposed to drain it halfway right?
So basically drain 1 quart out, fill with one quart. Follow steps 2 more times. Do I have to wait a certain time after filling it back up? Drive around a bit? Or do I just continue. Thanks

Shows that it's 2.5 us qts in the manual. Just check it to be sure, can always add some.
I would drain it all out, fill then road test it. repeat 2 times
Good luck

Ok so drain it all out and then drive around and follow steps 2 more times. Cool So that would mean.
