I want some good quality tires to run on my rims does anyone know of any that doesn't cost a arm and a leg some that sticky and have alot of treadwear on them. give me the name and where I can order them from

You can't get everything without compromising something If you want sticky, they'll generally wear quickly and cost an arm and a leg (depending on rim size, which would be helpful ). And if you want cheap, they won't be sticky. Take a look at tires.com and tirerack.com, they have UTQG ratings and pics/prices of just about any tire you need/want

Whats the tire going to be used for? Summer, Winter, All-Season, AutoX, ect.

I've heard good things about the Yokohama AVS ES100's, I haven't tried them yet but I will be getting them next summer. They are a summer only tire though, I use snow tires for the winter.

all-season is what I need 205-40-17's is what size I need and I'm talking about at least a tire that is 100 dollars a piece maybe a lil more or lil cheaper something wit a good treadwear.

good luck with that... getting something in that size that cheap means you have connections or are buying the shittiest tire possible. you wont get good anything at that price... try a kuhmo or something, they tend to be pretty cheap.. or a falken ziex like mentioned before.

don't cheap out with tires...they are the last part in transferring everything you have put into your car onto the road and they are what matter most...they can be the maker or breaker of your car, and i can't stress that enough...

personally, for what you are talking about, pirelli pzero nero m&s would be a good tire for you...pretty sticky on hot dry pavements, perfect tread pattern to displace snow, dirt, or water, and the rubber actually gets better as the temperature goes down...i personally have these tires (and have had for over a year now) and am about half way through the tread...they have a 400 treadwear rating i believe...

do some research on the tirerack...they generally have good reviews (read the consumer reviews of the tires as well)...

also, 215/45/17 would be a better size for you as well...bigger beefier tire that protects the wheel a little bit...

My friend had an Integra GSR that had the same tire and wheel size you have on it. He was running a set of the Kumho Ecsta tires, and he ran them through rain, snow, and dry pavement, and still got 60k miles out of them. And the only reason he changed tires was because he wanted a newer tire, since they were getting a little old. He bought the Falken Ziex and has never had a problem. Even with his new Prelude SH that he bought, he is running a set of the Falken Ziex with konig Prophet wheels. The Falkens and the kumhos are priced very similarly so it just depends on your preference. got to these websites to look at the tires:

if you want really good all seasons... and are willing to spend the money... BFGoodrich Radial T/A's are awesome, i sell em and recommend them to anyone. so grippy, and they last a hell of a lot longer than a lot of tires out there

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE950's and are good for all-season. They suck in the snow but are good in the rain. Try them. They don't cost an arm and a leg.

i like falken azenis sticky, but summer only. thats the down side, but you have to compromise. u want something that lasts = not sticky. u want something for winter= not gonna be great for track/summer conditions. something for summer is gonna be a lesser quality tire in snow ect.

i think for the price, azenis is a good quality *summer* tire.

I also found these to be a good tire. These were on my car when I bought it and they were nice tires. The gripped good in the dry and wet and I didn't have any problem with them in the snow. They're no snow tire but they did decent. I don't know if they have them in the size you want but a good option.

I use Kumho Ecsta Supras and they are awesome for dry and wet conditions as well as the low price. I am considering getting some Yokohama AVS ES100's next time around...not because I don't like the Kumhos, but because IMO, Yoko's are the best.

My brother went from the Kuhmos to the AVS 100 and he was dissapointed..although I think they are alright.

I like both of those over my Eagle F1's...they SUCK.

Bad thing is they stick good, are AWESOME in the rain and last a long time, but the sidewall is weak like jello

I should have stuck with Kuhmo.

If I had the money I would go with the S03's, but since I dont I might give the Azenis a try next...I hear they have a stiff side wall, which is important to me.

I didn't like the Kumho 712's because I felt they wore out a little fast and I didn't like how they followed the road a lot. I'm going to be trying the Yokohama ES100 next.

i heard the ES100's wear out quicker than no other... but i dont have personal experience.

I don't know. One of the guys I heard it from said he had 6 autox runs, 1/2 day of solo school and about 20K miles. He said they have about 75% thread left. Sounds decent to me.

my yoks avs es100 wore out pretty quick. they are awesome tires but when they started to wear, i experienced alot of "tramlining." .. i'm now looking for a good all around tire with good treadware.
