Summer Problems
I live in KS so during around this time its gets from 90 to 100 degrees outside. Last summer my car started having problems starting when it got real hot outside. I asked some techs (whom didnt know **** about imports) and they couldnt figure out what it was. So during the winter, i never ran into problems starting my car. It just recently happened again. When i turnt he ignition, acts like it wants to start but doesnt. eventually after several tries, i find success. please if someone could tell me what they think.
oh yeah, i just changed the starter too, and that didnt seem to fix the problem.

was car having problem turning over?? or was turning over ok just not starting???if it was turning over ok you wasted money on a starter ,,it sounds like you got an issue with main relay acting up on you

niq first off when car does not start we need to know if it is fuel or spark related,,since i have seen hundreds of main relay act up lets try that test ....
get a can of carb cleaner , when car doen not start remove the big hose that goes into throttle body, open up the butterfly just use accell cable and spray carb cleaner in throttle body start car if it starts you need to remove main relay and chk solderings , main relay is located under dash driver side it has 7-8 wires going to it , it is rusty/brownish in color ..once out ,pry it apart with a small screrwdriver chk for any cracked solderings , if cracked resolder and put together ,,

Re: Summer Problems (joshuaaaronalpert)
something like this happened to me last year when it started to get hot in NC. My car would only start sometimes. And 1/2 of those times, it was a hard start. I have a 95 accord, and it ended up being a battery problem. I just changed it with the highest CCA i could fit and it solved the problem, so you may want to check that out
