Default stock wheel size??

Are the stock wheels for a 4th gen accord 15"?? I'd like to upgrade to the 11.2" rotors w/ the dual piston calipers, but I don't know if they'll fit under stock wheels.

BTW search returned nothing

Thanks

I'm not 100% positive but I think the stock rims on the 90-93 Accord were 14". You could always get a set of 94-95 EX rims or something if you want to keep it stock.

You are going to have to go to at least a 17" wheel. That big-a$$ caliper is going to increase the overall circumference of your brake kit, you are most likely not going to clear that with an OEM wheel.....

correct me if I'm wrong but don't the AV6 and Legend dual-pistin brake swaps have 11.2" rotors? I'm almost positive they do and that I've seen the Legend dual-piston caliper swap on an Accord with stock 94-95 EX rims which are 15". Also, don't the 95-97 Accord V6 come with 15" rims stock? This is what I assumed he was going to be doing. Now if he plans on using some aftermarket caliper then I don't know, I just assumed he was going to use an OEM set-up that would allow the use of 15" rims.

Yes the rotor size would be 11.2" and the calipers would be off a legend. It's the swap that's been done on accordinglydone.com. I'm just now thinking that I may have 14" rims and be unable to do the swap.

I'll at least try for the hub over rotor so when/if I do get bigger wheels I'll be able to upgrade fairly easy.

A little off topic but sparco are pretty good wheels right? I've found a set I like and just wanted some input. Thanks all

Thats what I thought. It sounded like you were doing one of those swaps. Rotor over hub would be nice to do as well.

As for Sparco wheels though, I don't know anything about them.

rotor over hub is what I meant to say.

Anyone else know about sparco wheels?

rediculously light, and made for oversized brake setups. but look forward to paying out the wazoo for a set of 17s or anything of decent size. true Volks would be cheaper.
