I called the local dealership and inquired if they sell the circuit board as a part. They said no,but I could buy the whole speedometer for $385.00. Guess I'll take another poster's advice and head to the nearest scrap yard that will allow me to pull the part for likely about $20.00.

Thanks,you were absolutely correct,it goes on and off exactly as you described.

I looked not too long ago and saw the whole thing on Majestic for $149? Just saying.

Hi guys! I got 1997 honda accord EX has 200,000 miles on it it's 5 speed my problem is the speedometer intermittent and abs light is on and the cruise control dont work too. Anyone has this problem!

Just wanted to give everyone an update. I replaced the circuit board yesterday and the speedometer is working perfect,only time will tell if it is a long-term solution. I tested the accuracy with my GPS and found that the speed indicated on the speedometer to be precise and accurate;never thought a speedometer could be spot-on! Total cost at a pick-n-pull...less than $5.00.
