Re: (Tech-Nics)
So are the KYB a good brand? And how is ur ride? And arnt some of these adjustable? Like that you maybe lower one inch and if u dont like it adjust so its 2 inches low. I know im prolly asking HUGE noob questions here. But like those KYB's that u have, are those adjustable?

you can't adjust ride height with damper, unless you have some worthless show car with air suspension.
kyb gr2 is best mod for your car? geez..i don't know i should feel sorry or what.
those ARE stock replacement, just to give you a hint

700 is a good amount.
let's put it this way.
if you are not going to race/track then you don't need a coilover, go with a good spring and strut setup instead.
there's coupld proven formula for 98-02
adjustable height
apexi ws coilover($500, without dampering adjustment)
koni yellow W/ Ground Control(around 1000(both adj.able))
dampering adjustable only
koni yellow W/ Eibach prokit(around 700)
like i said if you are not going to race then go for the koni and prokit.

Re: (iam7head)
ok so after looking at the list you just gave me I think I would go with the 500 dollar apexi one. The whole reason im doing this is to simply lower the car. Because as I said before its just my daily driver, but I do want to be able to tweek it if some situations come up. So is this apexi one a nice one to go with? And where would be a good web site to buy from? I really appreciate all ur help.

Re: (98AV6205HP)
I paid $300 for the Konis $70 for the Neuspeeds brand new. A friend of a friend originally bought the setup for his Accord but ended up wrecking the car, so I stepped in and made him an offer for several parts. I felt sorry for the dude and his car but I made out like a bandit that day.

Re: So I wanna drop my car... (98AV6205HP)
I have a 97 sedan, and I have Tein S-tech springs and kyb gr-2 shocks. Not too bad ride, rides better than my other friends cars that are lowered, just gr-2 shocks are really soft, so if you're low they bounce to absorb the bumps and youll hit. That's why i regret the gr-2's. Plus when its cold they make like a clicking noise or something, and ive only had them for 6 months, but oh well that's probably something else broke on my car haha Good luck though. My car is lowered about 2 inches all around

sportline is too lower for GR2, agx is not availble for 6th gen.
if you are going to use gr2 might as well use oem, it's going to blew the same way, and don't say anything about tokico blue

I have Neuspeed Sport springs with Tokico Illuminas on my 6th gen. For the money spent, I can't complain... $120 for the springs, $335 for the struts. For less than $500, you'd be hard-pressed to find something better.
But Koni yellows + Ground Control still get my vote.

Personally I have H&Rs on my ride. I dont remember the model name but its the set that drops your car by an inch and a half. My car has whats called the "boat look". The front end is slightly higher than the back end. Stay away from what ive got, lol

Re: So I wanna drop my car... ('00Accordster)
most springs the front will be higher. but if your willing to spend 700. you might as well do true coilovers. you buy for the future. the more upgrades the better performance you will need. so do it once instead of having to replace in the end. you will save on that note. for example. a lot of people like the koni yellows. they are what 400-500 a pop. get you a nice set of springs. eibach and h&r seem to be the most popular. i run h&r race with kyb agx, decent set up. anyways springs can run you what 100-200. well that would already total 500-700 bucks and you can't adjust the height of the springs if your not happy. i just bought a set of AMR Engineering coilovers. They aren't installed yet but everyone has good stuff to say about them. Lifetime warranty, adjustable dampening, and the option to swap out your spring rates. You can check out their thread. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1659160I paid a little over 700 but it should be worth it. I was looking into the 650 ksports, the 650 omnipower street, the 700 nex gt, and the 950 tein ss. AMR got my money though, lol.
