Slight Oxyidization on Roof and Fender
There is the begginning of oxydization on my roof and fender, what do I do?
Should I wax it?
Its hard to keep my car nice and waxed here in AZ its monsoon season, it rains every week.
But would a simple wax job help or what?

Try a slight abrasive polish and then follow up with a full wax job. I had the same thing happening on my roof and after using some meguires it's no longer a problem.

It's a polish that will remove small scratches without harming the clearcoat. This is what I used on my messed up paint and it works great. Just be sure to follow it up with a complete wax job after using it to protect the paint. http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-p...eaner

after you use the polish to get it out you would need to keep up with the waxing or else your just going to have to do it all again

Heres a secret not many people know about, that I have learned by detailing yachts this summer. Use marine wax. Think about it. Marine wax is designed to withstand very harsh sun and corrosive products like the saltwater. We normally will buff with 3M Rubbing compound, and then use Collinite's Fleetwood Paste wax. The protection is amazing. For boaters who store their boat not undercover and wash their boat every month or so, we'll re-wax in 6 months. The Paste is harder to apply than the liquid, but it lasts longer. Heres a website I found that sells all their line products. http://www.thebestwax.com/boatwax.htm

^^ Wow. ^^ I never thought of that.
I happen to have a bottle of boat wax (new meguiars goodness) lying around, intended for my little laser (...a sailboat).
But, uh...is it safe? 'Cause I'm not gonna be the guinea pig on this one. Anyone actually used this approach before?
**EDIT**
Isn't boat wax ment for fiberglass?

I've used it for a while. It is meant for fiberglass, but the paste of the wax i mentioned above is pretty much pure carnuba. That stuff lasts forever.
