rpm goes up but accelerates slow
My automatic accord seems to accelerate very slow even thought the rpms shoot up when i press the gas. It feels almost as if the wheels are burning out and cars is going "no where"

Your trans need a rebuild brother. If you have a lil knowledge with tools and a repair manual you can rebuild it. You'll need a whole rebuild kit and a new torque converter. Your clutch packs are toast...

5spd or Auto? If it's an Auto, it can be that the ATF is low. Diagnose is the key boys/gals. Never blame someone for a crime they didn't commit. My dad's '94 Accord auto did the same thing til I notice that one of the cooler line is leaking. Fixed the leak, filled her up, and shifts perfectly fine.
