PLEASE HELP! DIY 2001 ACCORD OIL PUMP

I am trying to change the oil pump gasket on a 2001 Honda Accord 4cyl. I have been on this site, google, and chrome, searching for a diy (with pics) on replacing the gasket, or hell, even a diy on how to change the oil pump.
my problem is i keep getting lots of hits on changing a water pump, belts, etc......but so far i havent found anything specific on the oil pump changing.
if anyone out there can assist me in what i need, then that person is a blessing to me, bc i am stuck at this point needing your help to go any further.

Re: PLEASE HELP! DIY 2001 ACCORD OIL PUMP
wow, that was a great reply much thanks. however i am not really a mechanic by any means. so do you know where i can get a step by step diy with photos on how to tear down the 2001 accord to the point where if i have to change the oil pump gasket or any other part that may be causing this oil gussher. on my camry, the oil pump comes off and underneath the oil pump is a rubber gasket. is the accord like this too? i think i am pretty sure that its leaking from the oil pump gasket, if it has one.....??
good reply, however i still need more info
thanks

no to sure where can find a diy. but you can look at the f22. its pretty much the same. this is somewhat similar to camry but sucks you have to the bottom piece behind crank pulley. register at autozone online and search for a part on the right side of page there will be a gray pic with a wrench they have decent step by step. also look at pump part you will see its the same as the pic i posted

Do you have anyone that can help you? Its going to be a hard job doing it alone. Try finding a manual or something on your car, a guide to help you fix this. Your going to need one for sure. Its a big help.
An I doubt you will find a detailed picture by picture thing, due to your car being a somewhat newer model. An not that many peoople having accords.
As fuball mentioned autozone does have a somewhat good step by step process in what you need to do. Combine that with a manual/guide i think you would be in good shape. Best of luck to you.

In a nutshell you will need to drop the oil pan, remove the front balance shaft gear by putting something in the shaft to hold it and remove the bolt, remove the rear gear, the two bolts that hold the strainer to the oil pump, then remove the oil pump bolts and gently pry it off.
I would get a full Gates or Dayco timing belt component kit from rockauto. You will find them in the engine tab after entering ur year make and model. Then just use whatever you want to use and save anything for later installation. You will need to disconnect the crank sensor assembly too.
Its really easy and easier to replace all the seals with the oil pump removed.

Oh also you will need to remove the crank gear. You will need a gear puller and tap the key with a punch to shock it loose. I would get another key from the dealer just to be on the safe side.
