Default Performance parts & Upgrades

My 1992 Honda accord 2dr ex (which has 210,189 on it) was just recently hit with a boat (90' caddi coupe) yea a boat. Anyhow it has done some dammage to both the car and my pride. I am getting a check to pay for damages and I will have around $900-$1000 to spend on upgrading my car. I need some good ideas to do the most for the money and the sites to shop on please tell me some where to shop for parts and some Ideas would be great thank you

dont worry about making a slow car less slow untill everything is running well and is cosmeticaly and structurly sound......but id start with adj gas shcoks and springs....suspension upgrades have a higher driving pleasure increase / $$$ value

Keep the check, sell the car as is, and go buy a new car... timing is key to buying a car and right now is a great time to get one. Things happen for a reason

I did not know some Accords could float. James Bond had a Maserati auto/submarine in The Spy Who Loved Me. But, yours is the first I heard of an aqua Accord. Do you have photos?

Ya know when I got the estimate for repairs they ask what hit me when I told them that it was a big boy caddi, they then ask what I was doing in the lake with the accord... so that is where the whole boat thing came from. And I feel real smart because right after I sent the last message asking about i/h/e I thought about it and relized what it was. Another question is .. I live in the tri-cities of t.n and I am looking to get my g-racing 18"s dipped in chrome if you know of anywhere plz let me know

Back to the original question.
Fix your car well, back to original or better, he. If there is any suspension damage upgrade, either way, upgrade. Shox, springs, sway bars, strut brace.
CAI and exhaust follows. Header last IMHO.
And there goes your "extra" 1k. Have fun

Yeah, with 18 inch rims you won't have to worry about going fast anyways
