Default Opinions on a Buddy Club 2 Body Kit Used?

Buddy Club 2 Body Kit for 6th Gen. Accord Coupe.

Hey guys, I'm not really a body kit guy, but for $200 would this be a good buy?
I noticed it has two cracks on the bottom of the front bumper and I was wondering from the photos if that is a big deal or if that can be treated easily, and if so... how?
Also interested in your opinions on buddy club 2 body kits in general.
...DEAL or NO DEAL

-Thanks

Just my personal opinion but i think no deal. Having a body kit is going to be high maintenance and eventually be a hassle. In the long run it is going to cost you more using fiber glass. BTW why does he want to get rid of it? You also said that you are not a body kit guy so maybe those arent for you. Its JDM, lets stick to the rice as just food.

Guess why he's selling it so cheap?

Because it's worthless and no one else will buy it

Thats right lol. Go on ebay and you will have a selection for the same price. Please dont become another honda ricer please, we have enough. Theres soo much you can do to an Accord without ricing it up and make it look sexy. Its called JDM. I used to have a black CD7 with OEM JDM blackouts. H22 swapped. I was happy. I miss it though, but now I have an 05 DC5 and Im damn happy.

i guess the only reason i was really looking at it was because it's close to me (local pickup) so i figured i wouldn't have to fork up 200+ for shipping and because it's cheap. (i like getting good deals, who doesn't) and he's selling it because he traded in his car and put the original bumpers on it and is now selling the kit. and no my car doesn't have a body kit on there as of now. but thanks for your opinions. i wanted to just get a lip kit but for the 2 door they are $$$.

the 2 door accords look good with lips. If a lip is what you want, a lip is what you should get. Dont settle for anything less. And dont settle for someone elses leftovers

A body kit made of fiberglass is going to look really funky down the road as you drive your car.
On the highway, they flex and move, and flap around like a piece of cardboard....ahhaha.. well... not like cardboard.. but... it flexes a lot.
While flexing, cracks may appear. I've never seen a bodykit that actually has a descent setup for installation, it's pretty much "bolt right through the fiberglass" and they're you go.
Lower clearance to the ground without the ability of absorbing impact... it's either a crack/braking or cracks/spider web that go deeper than the paint on the surface.
Aftermarket fiberglass bodykits are just for show.... aren't meant for the go.... I say keep your oem bumpers, that actually are functional and add a lip kit around, even if costs more.

definitely if your really into getting a body kit (which you stated your not) then go for polyurethane or V-Fiber

The repair on it no problem. Repaint is going cost as much you paid for the whole thing. If you don't know how to repair it or drive with it don't buy it. I have that kit on my car but its for commercial use only. JDM is the new rice because its a bandwagon which everyone has recently jumped on. And they do not flex on the highway if its real. I think it looks good but if you can't handle it don't buy it.

Awesome, well thanks for your opinions guys.
Very helpful.
I don't think I'm going to buy it. I was hesitant from the start and your opinions only backed me away more... not that I trust you guys
but you all had valid points
I guess the next step is where can I find a decent lip kit.
I know of west wings and good old ebay.
Any other suggestions?

Wingswest or kaminari. Sorry for the ebay people but that "mugen style" is a no!

In my opinion Kaminari is the best looking and most practical body kit. The thing is though that your OEM bumper must be either 98 99 2000, on 01 02 the front won't work because the bumpers of 2001-02 are different. So like I said if you really want a major style change that is practical and looks good and do not flap on the hwy get Kaminari.

p.s. their kind of expensive too

I have a 03'+ accord front lip(oem and kaminari) on my 02' honda accord but its a sedan on sedan lip. I've heard everyone talking about flapping kits. Who is installing your stuff? I never had any problems cheap or perfect.
