Im a noob? youve been here like 6 months longer dude... get over yourself. I would love to see a vid of your friends "under 2k" turbo accord beating an s2k. Until then Stfu and you GTFO. ******* liar.</TD></TR></TABLE>

im not calling you a noob because of how long you've been here, i called you a noob b/c you lack of knowledge.

http://nonvtec.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=226

thats the link to where the accord smoke the s2k, but the vid is expired. But ill try and get in contact with him to see if he can host the vid again. just to clown your ***.

the only way that an s2k&gt;accord is in looks, i give it that. and ofcourse in stock form, the s2k is better, no one is arguing witth that. But tell me how and s2k&gt;accords when accords smoke s2k's? how is that owning? its just like when an accord owns a mustang, same ******* thing.

we mod our accords for the same reason that all those others mod their civics and intergras, b/c we want to. If you dont like it, and if you have nothing intelligent to say to people's questions, dont ******* post.

first off you all need to drink more alcohol, ********** more or something

Second I think both Crazy D and Nick H have their points. Undisputably Nick you get my respect because I've seen you at work in the forum and you know your stuff.

However even though Crazy D got poned he still has a point. Its always cheaper to make a fast car faster than to make a 135hp family sedan moderately fast. Now don't get me wrong I'm not a hater I'm just realistic. You won't find a V8 that puts out 135hp, it'll be more around 250 at least. At the same time you drop a few hundred on exhaust and you get 25 hp, you drop that on an accord and you get 5 at most and its gonna cost more. Granted we're talking completely different platforms and a Mustang 5.0 isn't gonna handle worth a ****.

What this whole debate comes down to is what you're looking for. If you want a reliable daily driver with good gas mileage stick with the accord. If you want an all out drag car buy a V8 or something bigger with a big *** turbo. If you want a rally car tune your accord and suspension or buy something else. Quarter mile time is not the end all be all, it takes way too much money and hp on any setup to make a substantial drop in time and even then you can only steer it straight.

And me...I found a new sig and don't care what you all think

the late 80's camaro has a 150hp v8. look it up. and mustang 5.0's do handle . . . well the sn95's do at least. and the sn95's suspension can be adapted to fit a fox . . . ive seen it.

Crazy D you are an idiot.

So you call him a liar, acting like you know everything in the universe and then when he actually proves you right you tell him to get a life and still call him an idiot? Didnt YOU call him out on it??? YOU wanted the video proof and yet you tell him to get a life... Only an idiot would still fight a losing battle, much less "defend a losing car" From what i can tell from your posts you must still be in highschool and know nothing about cars or their potential. You know what, you can drop 30K and buy an STI and mod it but IT WILL STILL BE A FAMILY SEDAN. Get over yourself, just because you think one way doesnt mean everyone else has to.

or maybe, you express your concern for the accord as a Family Sedan to the champion of the 2004 USTCC, who ironically was driving an accord...but oh wait, he was up against cars like wrx's, audi a4's, ITR's, and other "superior" cars...I guess with the propper knowledge, tuning, and dedication to the accord as a respectable car, anything is possible after all...it's really just the negative attitued of users like Crazy D that keep more accords from becoming serious competition...</TD></TR></TABLE>

was it a euro accord (tsx)? just out of curiosity?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by wrichards2005 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">What I really want to know is why you are bashing accords in the accord forum you dumbass. Everytime someone posts a relevant question about an accord leave it to some dumbass like an Eagle Talon owner or something talking about his car is so much faster then an accord. A talon,,, what is that like a fake eclipse or what (he's not necessarily an owner but 2 guys tried talking **** to me that owned talon's). 2000 Dollars won't necessarily slay an S2K off the road, but not much more than 5 definitely would. What is that like 1/6th of what a S2000 costs???</TD></TR></TABLE>

Talons are the same thing as eclipses buddy, and you probably shouldn't compare them to the accords because they are known to be a pain to own, modify, and work on. (unreliable) Although they can be pretty quick.

As for the rest of this thread, sure the S2k is a far superior sports car to the accord, but some of us want a full size daily driver seden that is comfortable, roomy, has a roof, can carry people, but still has a little bit of potential to be fast. Most people that have S2Ks probably don't use them as daily drivers. Thats the good thing about the accord, it can be modified to be fairly quick and fun and still be a solid daily driver. Plus its cheap too, and more spacious than all of thoose civics.

that vid kicks A$$! woohoo! not that i'm downing s2k's or anything, to me, any car is fine. just nice to see something different. but i agree with most the other people on this thread. It's an 'accord' forum. if you have no helpful info for us cheap, poor, have other hobbies, kind of people that drive accords, then please go to another forum. i'm a total noob to honda's and this forum and i need as much helpful info as i can get, not car bashing. i bought my accord for 500. am i unhappy that i don't have an s2k? nope. i love my POS cause it's CHEAP! and plenty of things i can do to it. just my tiny $.02. Have a nice day!
