need advice on H22a Accord Transmission
hello, my dad has a 1992 Accord EX that he bought new in 1992. the chassis has over 400 thousand miles on it now but it still runs great or at least it did. It has had three engines in it over the past 20 years. A f22a, an f20a and the current H22a with auto transmission. I told my dad he might as well convert it to a 5 speed and that would elimate the weak h22a auto transmissions. Basically, how hard is it to convert the USDM accord over to 5 speed and what other parts do you need besides the pedal and transmission? A gauge cluster? is this a hard thing to do or what?
thanks

Its alot of work and for me easier when broken into pieces,
the pedal assembly will take a day and get you sore shoulders.
Here's a link you should read up on.

It's pretty much straight forward when you have all the parts you need. Here's a link for you to follow up on:

This DIY link is for the 5th Gen Accords but will work with the 4th Gen as well. Good Luck!
