Default brakes locking up

my brother has a 95 accord his girl was driving it and the brakes locked up. he changed out the front calipers and blead out the brakes. takes it down the road and they lock up again. i dont know crap about abs. what could this be? his abs light has been on since he baught the car. what a happens when the unit goes? how could you bypass it if it is bad. im sorry for all the questions but i dont know abs at all.

i don't really know about abs problems and fixes but first does it have fluid in the abs reservoir?

I would first make sure there is some free-play in the brake pedal. There should be a small bit of movement between the at-rest position and the point that resistance is first felt. If there is not, then the possibility exists that the calipers are staying applied; overheating and causing the brake fluid to heat and expand, self applying the brakes.

im not there to look at it but from what he says it locks up after bleeding not even getting far down the street. i have no clue.

you need to get that professionally checked. the ABS module is applying pressure to the brakes causing them to lock. you can disable the ABS system by pulling it's fuse until you get it fixed........
